Zambia

Thanks to Mambulu! Safaris I took my family, ten of us, to Zambia for a safari for my 70th birthday. It was an unforgettable week for all of us and I can highly recommend this trip as well as Mambulu! Safaris and its owner, Rob Sijm who took such good care of us.

The youngest member of the family was 5 and the oldest 73! The other grand-children were 8, 11 and 13 years old. We stayed one week in two camps in the South Luangwa national Park. Track & Trail Camp and Chichele Lodge. The first one on the Luangwa River was rustic and very romantic with excellent food. We had our own jeep and a wonderful guide, Masumba.

Chichele was more luxurious, fabulous rooms, fantastic view, a good size pool which the children appreciated specially and the staff was so kind and friendly. We saw a lot of animals, the vegetation was luxuriant and breathtakingly beautiful. 7 days of sunshine, at times a bit hot and humid.

Everything worked out perfectly with the transportation from Geneva, via Dubai, to Lusaka and then on to Mfuwe and back. No delays, no lost luggage. The local ground support was very helpful and efficient.
